Follow International Profit Associates (IPA-IBA) progression since its inception in 1991 to becoming
one of the world's largest consulting firms. Through its North American operations, IPA-IBA installs

1991
International Profit Associates, Inc. (IPA) is officially founded in Wheeling, Ill. The Company
is incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois.
1992
IPA has annual revenues of $5 Million.
1993
IPA moves from Wheeling, Ill. to Buffalo Grove, Ill. and builds a new national headquarters.
1994
IPA achieves $24 Million in annual revenues.
1995
May of 1995, John R. Burgess, IPA founder and Managing Director, selected as a finalist in the
"Entrepreneur of The Year" awards program sponsored by Ernst & Young LLP and Merrill Lynch.
IPA expands to Canada to become an international management consulting firm known as Integrated Business
Analysis (IBA).
1996
IPA-IBA named fastest growing management consulting company and surpasses $33 million in annual revenues.
1997
IPA-IBA expands services by forming strategic alliance IPA Advisory & Intermediary Services.
1998
IPA-IBA doubles the size of its operations in Buffalo Grove, Ill. Ground is broken for a 50,000 sq.
ft headquarters.
1999
IPA-IBA surpasses $100 million in annual revenues and expands services to include tax planning by
forming a strategic alliance with International Tax Advisors.
2000
IPA-IBA acquires a second facility to expand its headquarters to 93,000 sq ft.
2001
IPA-IBA surpasses $150 million in annual revenue.
2002
IPA-IBA grows to more than 1,500 employees in North America.
2003
IPA and its affiliated companies generated revenues in excess of $184,000,000. No management consulting
company has gone from zero to $100 million in revenues faster than IPA.
IPA-IBA expands services again by forming strategic alliance with Accountancy Associates, LLC and ITA
Implementation Services to provide additional tax and accounting services to clients.
IBA-USA created to serve clients with annual revenues above $10 million.
November 2003 Valerie Ramsdell, Director, named an "Influential Women in Business" by The National
Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and "The Business Ledger."
December 2003, Crain's Chicago Business ranked IPA as the 8th largest management consulting company
in Chicago.
2004
IPA, and its affiliated companies, has served more than 100,000 clients since 1991.
May of 2004 Ranked 119th Largest Privately Held Company by Crain's Chicago Business.
May of 2004, Gregg Steinberg, President of IPA-IBA, was appointed a member of the U.S. Chamber
of Commerce Council on Small Business.
June of 2004, Consultants News ranked IPA as the 56th largest consulting firm in the world.
November 2004, Crain's Chicago Business ranked IPA as the 6th largest management consulting
company in Chicago.
2005
February 2005, International Profit Associates Managing Director And Founder, John R. Burgess Is Awarded
Ronald Reagan Republican Gold Medal.
May of 2005, Crain's Chicago Business ranked IPA as the 114th largest privately held
company in Chicago.
June of 2005, Consultants News ranked IPA as the 61st largest consulting firm in the world.
June of 2005, Consultants News ranked IPA as the 38th largest consulting practice in North America.
2006
IPA-IBA reaches $250 million in annual revenue.
February of 2006, International Profit Associates (IPA-IBA) was ranked the 6th Largest Management
Consultants by Crain’s Chicago Business.
July of 2006, Consultants News ranked IPA as the 41st largest consulting firm in the world.
2007
IPA, and its affiliated companies, has served more than 170,000 clients since 1991.
